Every installation carries a workmanship guarantee, manufacturer warranties (up to 30 years on panels, 15 years on Duracell batteries), and a TrustMark insurance-backed guarantee that protects you even if the installer ceases trading.
PEACE OF MIND
Guarantees and aftercare
Every installation is backed by workmanship guarantees, manufacturer warranties, and an insurance-backed guarantee. Here is exactly what covers you, who provides it, and how to make a claim if you ever need to.
Workmanship guarantee
All installation work is guaranteed by Home Heating Services (Scotland) Ltd (SC484353). This covers the quality of the physical installation — wiring, mounting, sealing, and commissioning.
Duration varies by system type: typically 5–10 years. Your proposal will state the exact term.
Manufacturer warranties
Equipment warranties are provided directly by the manufacturer. Typical ranges:
- Solar panels: 25–30 year performance warranty
- Inverters: 10–12 years (extendable on some brands)
- Duracell Dura5 battery: 15 years
- Tesla Powerwall 3: 10 years
Insurance-backed guarantee
As a TrustMark-registered business (3559930), our installation partner provides an insurance-backed guarantee (IBG). This protects you even if the installer were to cease trading.
The IBG is issued at the point of installation and registered with TrustMark. You receive a copy in your handover pack.
